The Community Enterprise Solutions/Social Entrepreneur Corps team has formed a strategic partnership with Ciudad Saludable (CS) in Peru. Our leadership has a long –standing relationship with CS through Ashoka. CS’ main goal is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the poorest population through efficient solid waste management which will not only result in cleaner cities but also the creation of jobs. We practice and encourage commitment, service, solidarity, social equity, respect, transparency, and ethics both at the professional and moral levels.

We will be replicating our MicroConsignment Model in Peru with CS and CS will be replicating its model in Guatemala with us. In the first three weeks of November three members of our leadership team will be in Peru launching our work and program whilst finalizing logistics.  Interns in Peru will focus on both models.
