Asesor Por Favor (ConsultantPlease) (APF) is a Social Entrepreneur Corps social innovation. The mission of APF is to provide practical consulting and  support to organizations /small businesses who request and are in need of professional support. When a client requires specific activities to be carried out to help them achieve their mission, then they fit into our APF program. APF consulting can be in the form of tailored training workshops or providing deliverables such as marketing resources and plans.

Local libraries, artisan associations, cooperatives, education centers, small retailers

Recent Examples:

Guatemala:

Beneficiary: Special Education School, Nebaj

Impact Achieved: Interns held a workshop on how to hold fundraisers and earn money for the school, and donated funds to help students start a jewelry making business that has raised almost $150 for books and supplies.

Ecuador:

Beneficiary: La Era Fashion, Loja (clothing and textile producer)

Impact Achieved: Interns held a basic accounting workshop to enhance the women’s knowledge of financial resources  as they begin to enter the local market.

Nicaragua:

Beneficiary: Casa de Tradiciones (local artisan)

Impact Achieved: Interns met with the artisan to evaluate her need for marketing materials to promote her products. They then designed and produced brochures for five different products.

South Africa:

Beneficiary: Baphumelele Bakery

Impact Achieved: Interns conducted a needs and SWOT analysis to determine pressing needs and next steps to increase sales. They increased the bakery’s visibility through the design and creation of a mural.
